Evaluation of the joint project "LearningNEWLearning2" (LNL2)
Learning and teaching in a diverse and digital world
Learning and teaching in a diverse and digital world
The LNL2 project addresses learning and teaching in an increasingly diverse and digital world and emphasizes the creation of a sustainable and inclusive society. The concept of new learning encompasses innovative teaching and learning concepts that enable cooperative, situated, competence-oriented, and networked learning. The project aims to implement an open, digital continuing education platform for teachers in schools. Learners will be given the opportunity to discover new learning settings in various content modules, try them out, evaluate them, and then bring them back to school as multipliers.
The Chair of General Pedagogy and Educational Research at LMU Munich is responsible for evaluating the LNL2 project. The formative evaluation comprises various measurement points with written and oral surveys of project participants and users, as well as accompanying stakeholder interviews and focus groups with key project partners and consortium partners. This data is supplemented by an analysis of the documents and digital content produced in the context of the project, the platform itself, and the usage data generated by it.
The aim of the evaluation is to generate process and control knowledge and contribute to the quality development and assurance of the project. In addition, it should make a significant contribution to research on teacher training and the design of digital service platforms in this area.
